Win! SOCOM Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) Grant

7 AUG 2015 - U.S. Special Operations Command announced the award of a Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) grant to our client, a Tennessee Valley small business, for advanced electro-optical sensor technology. The $150K SBIR Phase I award provides funding for technology development, testing and initial marketing aimed at commercialization and further development. Additional funding is available in future SBIR Phases if technology development milestones are successfully met.

The Red Team's Michael Zari provided compliance support, strategy consulting, and technical reviews to shape the bid and enhance the competitive posture of the final proposal. This project is part of The Red Team's commitment to helping regional companies win, execute and grow business in Government markets. Our services were provided at no cost to the client, under a Small Business Administration program managed by the Women's Business Council of North Alabama (WBCNA) and TechRICH.

Congratulations to Phelps 2020 and the WBCNA / TechRICH team for this exciting first step. The Red Team is proud to be part of your growth!
